Overview

Project Manager opportunity with a traditional building contractor specializing in modular build projects. You will be empowered to deliver projects from start to finish with autonomy and limited red tape. This is a temp-to-perm role based in Stansted Airport, starting November 2025, paying £350–£380 per day.

Responsibilities

• Attendance and preparation of pre-tender and tender interviews
• Overall responsibility for all site operations
• Preparation of tender submissions working alongside the estimating team
• Production of tender programmes using Microsoft Projects or Asta
• Understanding of JCT / NEC Design and Build Contracts
• Implementation of company procedures on site
• Implementation of Health and Safety procedures
• Progress reporting and production of board reports
• Coordination of design teams and contractor design packages

Qualifications

• All-round experience in the Main Contracting sector
• Experience overseeing modular projects
• Good all-round building experience on projects from £1m - £10m
• Demonstrable time spent with previous employers
• Design and Build experience
• Experience as Contracts Manager with a reputable main contractor is desirable
