Job description

This is a fantastic opportunity for early-career Project Managers to step into a fast-paced environment delivering multiple small works and refurbishment projects across UK sites. You’ll be supporting an experienced Programme Manager and working with onsite teams, contractors and stakeholders to keep projects on track, compliant, and delivered to a high standard.

Location: UK-wide (regional allocation)

Rate: c£250-£300 per day

Duration: six month FTC (with extension potential)

Start: ASAP

What You’ll Be Doing

• Coordinating and supporting delivery of multiple minor works projects
• Assisting with project planning, scheduling and progress tracking
• Managing contractors and liaising with onsite teams
• Maintaining RAID logs and project documentation
• Supporting governance, reporting and compliance activities
• Attending site visits and monitoring progress/quality
• Ensuring works align with scope, budget and H&S requirements
• Providing hands‑on support to the Programme Manager and wider team

What You’ll Need

• Active SC Clearance
• Experience in Facilities Management / Refurb / Minor Works / Construction delivery
• Project coordination or junior PM experience in a technical, FM or regulated environment
• Ability to juggle multiple small projects simultaneously
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to multiple sites
• NEC/JCT familiarity (bonus, not essential)

Nice to Have

• Experience in secure or regulated environments
• Understanding of compliance, H&S or building fabric
• Background in fit‑out/refurb projects
• PMO or governance experience
• Knowledge of asset management or billable works processes
