Job description
Purpose of the role

As a PPR Project Manager, you will manage all aspects of assigned spares and retrofits projects from launch to completion. You will work under the guidance of the Head of Projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget and to the highest standards of customer satisfaction. This role combines technical, commercial and leadership responsibilities, offering a fantastic opportunity to build relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Your main tasks and responsibilities
  • Monitor and communicate all assigned project deliverables, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Launch projects in a timely and professional manner, arranging client and internal kick-off meetings and completing handover documentation.
  • Monitor and report project profitability, cash flow and invoicing, producing reliable forecasts for gross profit and cash management.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and internal teams to reduce commercial risk and maximise future opportunities.
  • Act as the single point of contact for all project communications, ensuring coordination of activities, documentation and timely project close-outs.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • HND in engineering or a business discipline and/or equivalent relevant industry experience.
  • Proven experience managing projects within a related industrial environment.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills with commercial acumen.
  • Supplier and customer management experience, including contract negotiation.
  • Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, time management and the ability to act independently and adapt to change.
  • General computer literacy and experience with project and resource management tools.
