Job summary

A leading technology firm in the UK is seeking an Interim ERP Project Manager for a fixed-term contract of 6 to 9 months. The successful candidate will create and maintain a comprehensive project plan for an ERP system upgrade, including development of documentation, collaboration with stakeholders, overseeing ERP testing, and training end users. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant project management experience, preferably with ERP systems, and strong leadership skills. Driving ERP success - From scope to delivery!

We are currently looking for an Interim ERP Project Manager who will be responsible for creating and maintaining a comprehensive project plan that outlines the projects scop, schedule, budget and resource requirements of the ERP system upgrade.

This is a fixed term contract for around 6 - 9 months.

Some key responsibilities for this role include :
  • Develop a detailed implementation plan outlining project scope, timeline and budget with supporting documentation
  • Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Work practices to ensure process consistency and repeatability
  • Collaboration with stakeholders, department managers, IT personnel, consultants and end users to define program scope that meets the business needs
  • Develop and oversee ERP testing program and identify risks and develop contingency plans
  • Conduct end user training and post the go-live support model
  • Post implementation system performance monitoring to identify process and system improvements
For this role you will need :
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, including experience managing ERP implementations
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification desirable
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and implementation methodologies
