Project Manager - Regional Main Contractor

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 + Package

Location: Berkshire / North Hampshire Region

A growing regional contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of schemes typically in the £1m-£5m range. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys autonomy, responsibility and delivering well‑run projects for a stable, well‑organised business.

As a Project Manager, you will lead the operational delivery of projects from pre‑construction through to completion, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard. The successful Project Manager will be supported by a hands‑on senior team, quick decision‑making and a straightforward working culture.

The Role - Project Manager

• Running projects from start to finish as the lead Project Manager
• Managing site teams, subcontractors and day‑to‑day operations
• Overseeing programme, short‑term planning and technical coordination
• Driving quality, health & safety and effective site management
• Working closely with commercial teams to maintain cost and value
• Building strong working relationships with clients and consultants

The Ideal Project Manager

• Proven experience as a Project Manager for a main contractor
• Confident delivering projects between £1m and £5m
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Good technical understanding and the ability to resolve issues promptly
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS required
