Overview

An interesting Project Management position is available to join a growing main contractor in the delivery of leisure orientated projects nationally. This hybrid position will sit above the delivery Project Managers who are site based, and will handle the projects from a pre-construction stage, and then will support the project delivery teams liaising with the client and other stakeholders. The expectation of the role would be to cover sites across the country both regionally and nationally, and as this position doesn’t need to be site based, a flexible working pattern will be available with circa 3 days visiting site and 2 days either in the office or at home. Someone based in the Yorkshire area would i.e. commutable to their offices in Leeds, however as long the individual is flexible other locations would be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Provide project management across multiple build projects within a large regional or Tier 1 main contractor environment.
  • Oversee projects from pre-construction through to delivery, supporting the delivery teams and liaising with clients and stakeholders.
  • Travel to sites across the country (regional and national) with a flexible pattern of working (approximately 3 days on site, 2 days in the office or at home).
  • Coordinate with client interfaces and manage communications with project teams.
Qualifications
  • Proven track record as a Project Manager covering multiple build projects in a large regional or Tier 1 main contractor environment.
  • Ideally has involvement within the pre-construction process.
  • Comfortable with high levels of client interface.
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
  • Strong interpersonal and people management skills.
  • IT competency, including Microsoft Project.
