Qualifications

Project Manager – Civil Rail & LUL

A Regional Civil Engineering Contractor, with offices throughout the UK, is looking for a Civil Rail Project Manager to join their Regional office near Milton Keynes, working for our Rail Infrastructure team on the Minor Works Framework and various projects for Network Rail.

The ideal candidate will have a history of working on civil engineering projects within a rail environment and will be from an Engineering background, preferably with a minimum of an HNC in Civil Engineering, a CSCS card, and PTS. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.

Reporting to a Senior Contracts Manager, duties include:

  • Controlling safety, quality & environmental activities
  • Site Supervision
  • Delivery of works to program & budget
  • Producing Health & Safety plans & Work Package Plans
  • Writing Risk Assessments
  • Temporary Works
  • Pre-start site inspections
  • Planning (including road closures and possessions)
  • Tool box talks & HSEQ briefings
  • Providing plant & materials
  • Client liaison

The salary for this role is £48,000 – £60,000, with a package including:
