Role: Project Manager
Location: Peterborough
Rate: £41-43 (Umbrella) OR £32 PAYE

Overview

We are seeking a project manager with engineering or manufacturing experience to play a pivotal role in driving initiatives to support growth through product lifecycle for aftermarket at an automotive company in Peterborough. You will be responsible for helping drive processes to protect and improve aftermarket parts and legacy with focus on the New Product Introduction phase. Project Managers will have a major impact on the new products being developed and be instrumental in maximise legacy products.

Responsibilities

• Drive initiatives to support growth through product lifecycle for aftermarket at an automotive company in Peterborough.
• Help drive processes to protect and improve aftermarket parts and legacy with focus on the New Product Introduction phase.
• Have a major impact on new products being developed and be instrumental in maximise legacy products.

Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of NPI, product deletion, brand, design change, aftermarket systems, processes, service, repair, and overhaul solutions.
• Strong Project Management skills.
• Able to work with cross functional teams, Product Development, Engineering, Quality, Supply chain, Manufacturing, and Operations.
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Some knowledge of parts marketing and sales functionality would be advantageous
