A progressive local government organization seeks a Project Manager to lead project planning and implementation in various sectors, including housing and technology. The role involves managing project deliverables on time and within budget while working collaboratively with stakeholders. Hours: Full-time
Location: The role is Hybrid working with a combination of home working together with minimum 2 days per week in an office base at one of our newly formed local transformation hubs at Northallerton, Harrogate, Scarborough and Selby
The core focus of this job is to manage, with direction, the planning and implementation of designated projects and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
This will involve working with a wide variety of stakeholders, coordinating project resources through the delivery stages of agreed projects using the council’s established project management methodology.
Postholders at the higher level of this career‑graded role will take on more complex and/or higher‑priority projects and will operate with greater autonomy.
Whether you're experienced or just starting out, this career‑graded role offers real development opportunities and the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from social care and housing to HR, finance, and technology.
We’re looking for individuals with strong transferable skills who are ready to grow their careers in project management.
A background in project management and a relevant qualification is helpful but not essential as we value potential, passion, and a collaborative mindset.
