What You’ll Do

Lead the nationwide rollout of Electronic Shelf Edge Labels (ESEL) across 3,500 stores in the UK. Own the end‑to‑end delivery of a multi‑million‑pound ESEL programme. Manage timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships for a seamless rollout. Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Operations, IT, and Supply Chain. Drive change management and training for store teams. Monitor KPIs and ensure successful adoption across all locations. Responsible for leadership, delivery, & quality of a wider team end‑to‑end.

Responsibilities

Leads teams responsible for a portfolio of medium‑large sized projects with a range of complexity. Ensures project alignment and integration with relevant program goals and objectives. Works closely with functional leaders (e.g., Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing) to understand business and process needs and structure projects accordingly. Develops value propositions, budgets and practical roadmaps for projects, ensuring a shared and mutual understanding by all engaged stakeholders. Consults with and advises project team members and customers on issue resolution strategies and change management. Ensures effective controls are in place to monitor the full project lifecycle. Contributes to the development and implementation of complex project plans, specifications and schedules. Ensures that critical outcomes are met for each project, program and / or portfolio. Develops strategies to resolve key issues presented by project managers and / or sponsors.

Qualifications

Proven experience in large‑scale retail technology implementations, preferably in the UK. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required. Typically has 4 years of experience in Project and Program Management in large scale retail environment. Fluent business English skills (Written and spoken). Strong project/programme management skills (Prince2, PMP, Agile preferred). Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities. Ability to manage complex budgets and multi‑vendor environments. Knowledge of retail operations and IoT solutions is a plus. Strong knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel. Commercial acumen.
