Job Description
The Times & Sunday Times we develop and enhance the Times and Sunday Times digital products, including our core website and including a portfolio of additional titles such as Times Literary Supplement, Travel, Style and Beauty, working in partnership with internal and external digital platform teams.
We do this by telling stories that entertain, excite and inspire across News UK’s news-brands and channels in digital, video, radio, print, social, events and more. The Studio teams include creative leads, art directors, project managers, video producers, picture editors and sub‑editors delivering the best blend of editorial, branding, social sharing and interactive content. Our wide range of editorial expertise and diverse skill sets allow us to find and create the most compelling stories.
The Project Manager will work on multiple campaigns and partnerships to plan, document, budget, timeline, communicate and troubleshoot at all levels and liaise with clients at every step of the project cycle.
With multiple campaign deliverables and an influx of briefs for scoping, the Project Manager is responsible for ensuring vital information flows through to Studio teams and internal/external stakeholders at all times and all parties are clear on their tasks and relevant deliverables and timelines.
The role of Project Manager is to ensure that campaigns are a success by brilliant project and customer relationship management and flawless delivery of campaigns and partnerships.
Manage the day to day running of campaigns and partnerships across all platforms
Is the main point of contact both internally and externally across the project life cycle
Scopes client briefs and provides client and creative insight, costs and scheduling feasibility in pitch responses
From point of sale defines project scope, leads kick offs, coordinate requirements, create project schedules, and ensure deadlines are met on multiple projects across all platforms
Manages project team to ensure delivery of campaign is on time and budget
Create and manage budgets and costs for each individual project and reports on a monthly basis
Managing shoots, production and contracting with talent
Build successful relationships and gain the respect and trust of clients & internal stakeholders
Works with Digital Account Management team to optimise and meet campaigns KPIs
Works with Insight teams to deliver and present a post campaign assessment of each project to clients and internal/external stakeholders
Proven experience in project and customer relationship management
Strong problem-solving abilities and able to make decisions autonomously with a structured, coordinated approach.
Podcast project management is preferable but not a must.
Good oral and written communication skills
Experience in a project management role or similar position with transferable skills
A background in media or publishing preferable
