We have a brilliant opportunity to join our Water network Operations and Leakage department as a Project Manager.

While in this role, you will play a key role in being responsible for day‑to‑day management and safety of the project and must be competent in managing the six aspects of a project, i.e. scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources. Well‑developed interpersonal skills such as leadership, communication and conflict management are also vitally important.

Responsibilities
  • Acting as Process and technical lead, evaluating tender submissions from a technical perspective and supporting contract negotiations and award.
  • Taking responsibility for both operational and capital financial management ensuring all deliverables are achieved, within budget, on time and to agreed company standards.
  • Successful management of framework suppliers and service providers under MCS process to support the compliance and safe delivery of the capital projects.
  • Critically evaluate the asset maintenance processes with the business users and help drive change to improve.
  • Drive the project plan and milestone delivery, highlighting issues or blockers and providing recommendations where appropriate for CDC SMT Steerco.
  • Work with Commercial to ensure successful mobilisation and demobilisation of suppliers.
  • Plan, draft and co-ordinate communications and workshops for Potable Tanks work stream.
