A prominent healthcare organization in London is seeking a Project Manager to support the North Central London Cancer Alliance. The successful candidate will manage projects aimed at improving cancer care pathways, engaging stakeholders, and ensuring high-quality outcomes. Strong project management experience within the NHS is essential. The role offers a hybrid working model with an expectation to be in the office weekly.
This role is for a Project Manager within the North Central London Cancer Alliance (NCLCA), hosted by University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Alliance works to promote early cancer diagnosis, optimise pathways, reduce variation, provide personalised support for patients, and build service resilience. The post holder will work across Prevention, Awareness and Screening (PAS) and Personalised Cancer Care (PCC) portfolios, and may be suitable for job-share.
The Project Manager will work across the PAS and PCC portfolios. The PAS strategy has been refreshed with new projects planned that this role will support. The PCC strategy focuses on personalised care and support, personalised follow-up, rehabilitation and psychosocial support to improve patient experience and quality of life.
The North Central London Cancer Alliance (NCLCA) is a team of 24 people with clinical support from four clinical leads. We are a diverse, dynamic, cohesive and ambitious team, committed to upholding UCLH values of kindness, teamwork, safety and improving. We have received a significant uplift in our budget for the next two years and are growing our team to respond to an expanded programme of work. We are based on Wimpole Street, central London. Hybrid working is the norm, with an expectation to come into the office at least once a week.
