Job description
Project Management Degree Apprentice – Lead Innovation Through Project Excellence with Amazon

Do you enjoy working collaboratively to solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful change? Are you ready to lead innovative projects that make a real impact across one of the world’s most dynamic organisations?

As a Project Management Degree Apprentice you’ll develop a broad and adaptable skillset – mastering stakeholder engagement, governance, financial control and risk management. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects that improve processes, enhance customer experience and drive innovation across Amazon’s diverse business lines.

Throughout the programme you’ll use recognised quality management frameworks and project methodologies to bring ideas to life, all while earning your BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management.

What You’ll Do

You’ll gain experience working on real projects that have tangible business impact. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead planning sessions and support initiatives that make a difference to Amazon’s customers and employees. You’ll coordinate resources, manage risks and use data‑driven insights to track performance and deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support projects to achieve defined objectives, timelines and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project alignment with business priorities.
  • Identify and mitigate risks applying structured problem‑solving techniques.
  • Use data and metrics to monitor project progress and report outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Present project updates using dashboards and reports to communicate impact.
  • Apply analytical thinking to evaluate and improve processes.
  • Support strategic planning and contribute ideas that drive positive change.
Who We’re Looking For
  • You enjoy solving problems and managing multiple priorities.
  • You communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • You have strong organisational and analytical skills.
  • You can think strategically while managing day‑to‑day details.
  • You are adaptable and open to learning new tools, systems and ways of working.
  • You don’t need previous project management experience – we’re looking for motivated individuals eager to learn, grow and make a difference.
Your Development

The 42‑month programme starting in September 2026 combines on‑the‑job learning with structured study time, allowing you to work towards your BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management. You’ll spend 80 % of your time working in your business area and 20 % on dedicated learning, which may include travel to a training centre depending on your provider’s location.

Eligibility
  • Be 18 years or over before the start date (September 2026).
  • Have the right to live and work in England (or legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme until September 2030).
  • Have lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years.
  • Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme.
  • Not be registered on another government‑funded course ending August 2026 or later.
  • Hold at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English.
  • Have 3 A Levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above.
  • Have a statement of comparability for qualifications outside the UK.
  • This is a 42‑month fixed‑term contract; you must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.
