Project Management Degree Apprentice – Lead Innovation Through Project Excellence with Amazon

As a Project Management Apprentice you’ll develop a broad and adaptable skillset—mastering stakeholder engagement, governance, financial control and risk management. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects that improve processes, enhance customer experience and drive innovation across Amazon’s diverse business lines.

Throughout the programme you’ll use recognised quality management frameworks and project methodologies to bring ideas to life all while earning your BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management.

What You’ll Do

As a Project Management Apprentice you’ll gain experience working on real projects that have tangible business impact. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead planning sessions and support initiatives that make a difference to Amazon’s customers and employees.

Your work will involve coordinating resources, managing risks and using data‑driven insights to track performance and deliver successful outcomes. Every day brings a new opportunity to innovate, simplify and grow your skills as a future project leader.

During Your Apprenticeship You’ll Learn How To:

Your Development

At Amazon we’re in our nature to learn and be curious..reverse? You’ll learn by doing, applying new knowledge every day while supported by expert mentors and experienced project professionals.

This 42‑month programme starting in September 2026 combines on‑the‑job learning with-frequency study time allowing you to work towards your BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management.

You’ll spend 80% of your time working in your business area and 20% on dedicated learning which may include travel to a training centre depending on your provider’s location.

About the Team

Our Project Management Apprentices work across a diverse range of Amazon teams—from HR and Operations to Technology and Entertainment. Where you are based you’ll play an active role in delivering projects that improve processes, enhance customer experience and drive meaningful results.

You’ll collaborate with a diverse network of colleagues, mentors and leaders who will support your professional growth and help you build a strong foundation for a successful career in project management.

To Qualify for This Programme
  • Be 18 years or over before the start date (September 2026)
  • Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme until September 2030)
  • Have lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years
  • Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme
  • Not be registered on another government‑funded course ending August 2026 or later
  • Hold at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above including Maths and English
  • Have 3 A‑Levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above
  • Please note if you have received educational qualifications outside of the UK, a statement of comparability will be required as confirmed by UK ENIC
  • Must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at a higher level than this apprenticeship
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn – natural interest in how projects are planned, executed and delivered
  • Strong communication skills – able to express ideas clearly and collaborate with diverse teams
  • Organisation and time management – comfortable prioritising tasks and managing deadlines
  • Analytical thinking – enjoys problem‑solving and using data to make informed decisions
  • Attention to detail – spotting issues early and following processes accurately
  • Adaptability – comfortable working in a fast‑paced, changing environment
