Overview

Are you an electrically minded Project Engineer ready to lead exciting capital projects in Leven?

Position Summary

The Project Engineer (Level 5) will join the Global Brands Supply Project Engineering team, supporting capital expenditure projects across manufacturing sites including distillation, brewing, spirits and beer packaging, and maturation warehousing. The role is primarily focused on delivering capital projects safely, efficiently, and to the correct technical specification.

Responsibilities
  • Develop requirement specifications in collaboration with Operations and other teams.
  • Apply specialist knowledge to deliver capex projects to the correct technical standards.
  • Prepare cost estimates and project schedules.
  • Manage efficient spend for capex projects.
  • Coordinate and manage external resources and contractors.
  • Oversee the full project lifecycle: capital approval, financial tracking, forecasting, and closure.
  • Manage construction activities and supervise commissioning processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Process Engineering (Electrical bias preferred).
  • Proven experience in managing capital expenditure projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering project lifecycle management.
  • Ability to manage contractors, budgets, and schedules effectively.
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance.
