Overview

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team at Sizewell B on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in the coordination and execution of a variety of technical projects ranging across mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines. You will be at the heart of ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality project delivery by working closely with both subcontractors and internal stakeholders. You\'ll be an organised and safety-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Your ability to build strong relationships with subcontractors and internal teams will be key to your success in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver multidisciplinary projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate works across site, ensuring schedules and standards are met.
  • Validate subcontractor documentation prior to granting site access.
  • Supervise daily site activities, promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Conduct pre-job briefs and lead setting-to-work processes.
  • Review and approve RAMS (Risk Assessments and Method Statements) before work begins.
  • Carry out regular spot checks and audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Liaise with operations managers and supervisors to support efficient delivery.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, escalating any Health & Safety concerns promptly.
Essential Skills & Experience
