Our client, a leading name in the automotive industry, is seeking a Project Engineer to join their team on a contract basis in Gaydon, Warwickshire. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact engineering projects, working at the forefront of innovation and technology.

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of engineering-based projects, from design and planning through to implementation and commissioning. You'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement operational plans for engineering projects.
  • Prepare detailed designs, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates.
  • Oversee production, transportation, installation, testing, and commissioning of infrastructure and equipment.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, resolving issues to minimize delays.
  • Identify and secure necessary resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel.
  • Prepare engineering standards and work specifications.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure successful project delivery.
About You
  • You are a Specialist Professional (P4 level) with deep expertise in project engineering.
  • You have a proven track record of managing large-scale or complex engineering projects with minimal supervision.
  • You are confident in coaching and delegating tasks to junior professionals.
  • You thrive in solving complex problems and navigating technical challenges.
  • You bring strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
