Working Hours - 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Starting Salary - £44,657.57 per annum, increasing to £47,417.08 upon gaining full competency

The Role:

Based in Bristol, reporting to the Heavy Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for executing daily tasks related to the production, utilization, and governance of project process deliverables.

What You'll Do:

Ensure adherence to and delivery of tasks outlined in ATC-1098 Heavy Maintenance Process Document, and support continuous process improvements, including:

• Carrying out start/end of shift processes
• Creating heavy maintenance block cards and work instructions
• Developing project work breakdown structures (WBS) and production plans
• Ensuring all project documentation (VMI's, VOI's, work instructions) are available and used correctly by the production team
• Collaborating with project teams to resolve material or obsolescence issues, including technical queries with customers
• Delivering toolbox talks and lessons throughout the project lifecycle
• Leading daily production meetings with team leaders and material planners
• Supporting the Heavy Maintenance Manager in contract delivery

What You Bring:

• City and Guilds/BTEC certificate in Engineering
• Previous experience in heavy maintenance project engineering
• Good understanding of traction and rolling stock systems
• Experience with rail vehicle heavy maintenance activities is advantageous
• Full and valid driving license
