Job summary

A reputable construction company is seeking an experienced Project/Construction Manager for a £5m refurbishment project in Central London. The role includes managing roofing, scaffolding, general builders work, and M&E. Ideal candidates should have proven experience on similar projects and strong communication skills. This is a full-time position requiring an immediate start, with the project lasting for one year.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a project/construction manager on a similar project.
• Experience working on projects valued between £5m and £10m.
• Knowledge/experience working with clients and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Manage roofing, scaffolding, general builders work, and M&E.
• Oversee refurbishment of an existing building.
• Prepare and lead client and sub-contractor meetings.

Overview

Our client is a reputable construction company who are looking for an experienced Project/Construction Manager for a project based in Central London.

This project is 1 year in duration and due to start ASAP. Project value is approx. £5m.

Scope

Main scope of work will consist of Roofing, Scaffolding, General Builders Work and M&E. This is the refurbishment of an existing building.

Skills & Requirements

• Valid Management CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid
• Proven experience as a project/construction manager on a similar project
• Ideally experience working on projects in the value of £5m - £10m.
• Experience working on the areas listed above
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Knowledge/experience working with the client and sub contractors - working in collaboration
• Expereince using Asite (prefferred) or Viewpoint
• Commercial knowledge
• Working references - essential
• Will be required to interview with the client
