Qualifications

• Experience or understanding of the construction industry, particularly roofing or related trades.
• Previous experience supporting young people or delivering employability guidance.
• Understanding of work-based learning, apprenticeship pathways, and vocational training routes.

Responsibilities

• Support young people on construction training programmes to explore career progression routes.
• Develop partnerships with local firms to create work placements and employment opportunities.
• Monitor learner achievements and progression to keep them motivated.
• Establish and maintain a network of active employers in the construction sector.
• Carry out risk assessments for safe placements.
• Run targeted employability workshops tailored to construction learners.
• Promote learner well-being and uphold safeguarding practices.
