Senior Manager – Programme Manager (Oracle Focus)

An established technology and transformation organisation is seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Oracle Programme Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering large-scale, enterprise Oracle-enabled business transformation programmes.

This role offers the opportunity to lead complex, high-profile transformation initiatives for major organisations across multiple industries, while also contributing to practice growth, capability development, and the mentoring of future leaders.

You will operate at the intersection of strategy, delivery, and leadership, working closely with senior stakeholders to shape and execute long-term transformation agendas enabled by Oracle technologies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and assure the delivery of large, complex Oracle-enabled transformation programmes
  • Partner with C-suite and senior stakeholders to shape enterprise transformation strategies
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to programme teams and junior colleagues
  • Own programme scope, timelines, cost, risk, benefits, and quality assurance
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
  • Ensure robust governance, reporting, and controls across programmes
  • Contribute to business development, including bid support and commercial proposition development
  • Support the growth and maturity of programme management tools, standards, and methodologies
  • Maintain a strong understanding of Oracle Cloud, ERP, and digital transformation trends
  • Actively contribute to people leadership, mentoring, and talent development initiatives
About You

You are a confident, delivery-focused transformation leader with a strong consulting mindset and the credibility to operate with senior executives on complex, multi-year programmes.

You will typically bring:

  • Extensive experience delivering large-scale Oracle programmes with multi-million-pound budgets
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills
  • Deep understanding of programme and project management frameworks, including Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches
  • Proven experience leading ERP-enabled business change and transformation initiatives
  • Commercial awareness, including financial oversight and programme economics
  • Experience supporting or leading bids, proposals, and client growth initiatives
  • Recognised programme or project management qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2, MSP, PMI, PPM)
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to motivate and coach diverse, often global teams
