A leading defence technology firm in Portsmouth is looking for a Programme Controller to lead programme controls and manage project teams. You will ensure the delivery of large programmes over £100m while providing oversight and developing your team. Strong experience in project controls and stakeholder management is required. The role is 37 hours per week with hybrid working options available, and you will work with cutting-edge technology alongside industry experts.
As a Programme Controller, you will play a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of large, complex programmes by leading teams and embedding strong programme controls across Integrated Delivery Teams (IDTs). Day‑to‑day, you'll lead and support project controllers across multiple sites, work closely with IDT leads, provide assurance on delivery performance, and help shape and embed new ways of working across programmes and portfolios. You will also support IDTs managing portfolios or programmes of £100m+, ensuring delivery remains on track and controls are applied consistently across complex projects.
