A nonprofit organization in the North East of England is seeking a Program Director to oversee a residential program for adults with developmental disabilities. The role includes coaching skills, managing compliance, and providing community support. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Services and two years of relevant experience. The annual salary ranges from £55,000 to £60,000 and involves full-time work with responsibilities spanning multiple sites and on-call crisis support.
The Program Director will oversee and manage the residential program. He/she will coach adults with developmental disabilities in independent living skills. The Director will maintain leases, update regulations, and coordinate services with collaborative partners. He/she will maintain residential plans and monitor plans for each client within the program. The Director will ensure that the residential program is in compliance for internal audits including but not limited to auditing by MCOs DDSN and other entities as required. He/She will provide assistance to residence for HUD re-certifications and complete all necessary program eligibility requirements. Program Director will provide support to other areas relating to community resources.
Addendum: Program Director for Building Independence and Green Level will be in a dual setting. Program Director will be required to work at both sites weekly and provide 24/7 on-call crisis.
Program Manager, Lead TBI Direct Care Worker, RCII Direct Care Worker, HCI RCI (supervisory roles are dependent on the residential program).
Education: Bachelors Degree in Human Services or similar field of study.
Experience: at least 2 years experience working with population served.
Specific skills/abilities: Must have strong computer skills (Microsoft office). Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Organizational skills are required. Must be available to work evenings as required. Ideal candidate will have an excellent work ethic, be flexible, able to multi-task and problem solve.
Specialized knowledge licenses etc: Must be QP credentialed. Community resources and services to population in Durham, Orange, Wake and surrounding counties as well as state resources. Must have Valid Drivers license.
