Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be supporting a large industrial manufacturer in Sheffield that’s on the hunt for a hands-on Production Team Leader to head up a busy welding and fabrication cell. If you\'re someone who thrives on leading from the front, improving processes, and developing people – this could be your next move.

Responsibilities
  • Leading and mentoring your team to drive a strong safety-first culture (think daily toolbox talks & SWAP coaching).
  • Tracking daily performance and taking action when targets aren’t being hit.
  • Embedding continuous improvement tools (SIC, DCI) into the day-to-day to boost efficiency.
  • Training, developing, and supporting your team – while handling performance issues when needed.
  • Working closely with your opposite shift Team Leader to keep things running smoothly around the clock.
  • Planning workloads, managing KanBan levels, and making sure the right materials are on hand when needed.
  • Being the key voice for your value stream in daily Level 4 SQDCP meetings.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Confident using MS Office & Excel (ERP experience is a bonus!)
  • Strong eye for safety, risk, and problem-solving
  • IOSH/NEBOSH, ILM, or other relevant qualifications are a nice-to-have
  • Comfortable using CI tools and lean techniques (or keen to learn)
