A leading food production company in the Tewkesbury area is seeking a Production Team Leader. You will be responsible for leading and motivating your team, ensuring production standards and health and safety protocols are maintained. The role requires flexibility to cover shifts and compliance with company procedures. Starting pay is £14.54 per hour with opportunities for increase upon further training.

• Previous experience as a Team Leader in a busy production environment, ideally within the Food industry.

Overview

My client, a food production company in the Tewkesbury area is looking to recruit a Production Team Leader on a Temp to Perm basis.

This position will require you to work on rotating shifts with start time of both 0530 and then -1330, working 5 days out of 7.

As part of the leadership team you will offer strong communication skills and a desire to ensure your team is performing at its maximum capabilities.

Responsibilities

• lead and motivate your team on a daily basis
• Ensure the highest working standards are met at all times
• Ensure Production targets are met
• Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times
• Report any maintenance or production issues in accordance with company procedures
• Have a flexible approach to meet company needs during busy periods

Compensation

The starting par-rate for this position is £14.54 per hour which will increase with further training
