Looking to lead from the front in one of the UK's most advanced food production facilities and within a fantastic household brand? This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a leadership role within a large-scale operation that plays a critical role in the national food supply chain.

You'll be responsible for driving performance, safety, and continuous improvement across a skilled production team ensuring that every shift runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. You will work closely with middle management, to ensure the future of the team and operation looks strong. The management team are very open to hearing about ideas and ways of working, so if you want to add value, this business will listen.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Lead a team of operators and technicians across key areas of production.
  • Deliver daily production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Champion health & safety, food safety, and environmental compliance
  • Support and coach team members to build capability and confidence
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools and defect elimination
  • Collaborate with engineering, planning, and technical teams to resolve issues and optimise performance
  • Monitor KPIs and contribute to operational reviews and performance planning
What You'll Bring
  • Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or processing environment (food sector preferred)
  • Strong understanding of production processes, safety protocols, and quality systems
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and team development
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies (advantageous)
