About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Production & Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. This is a role focused on supporting the production team with the inspection, certification and quality assurance of lifting equipment.

The successful candidate will ideally have an understanding of lifting equipment and quality assurance processes. Experience with powered lifting equipment is highly desirable, although not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily production activities and release of lifting equipment and associated components.
  • Assist in resolving production issues related to the design, materials or manufacturing processes.
  • Liaise with production teams to ensure build quality through out the process.
  • Carry out inspections during and after production to ensure compliance with the specification.
  • Support internal and external audits along with corrective action processes.
  • Identify non-conforming products, assist with the root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Work closely with internal teams including production, sales and inventory.
  • Stay up to date with industry standards and regulations
About You
  • Proven experience in a production, quality or engineering role within the lifting equipment or similar industry.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to quality and compliance.
  • Experience with powered lifting equipment is preferred but not essential.
  • Confident communicator with strong inter department communications.
  • Self‑motivated, organised, and able to work well within a team and on your own.
  • Computer literate with confidence in Microsoft office, Microsoft Teams and email.
