Location:

Leeds, GB

Shift pattern: This role will cover Sunday to Wednesday with a 4 on / 3 off fixed shift pattern based at Stourton Dairy.

There will also be an ad-hoc requirement to cover other weekdays and Saturdays to ensure continual 7-day scheduling cover at Stourton.

How will you make an impact?

• Ensure plans are optimized to account for multiple constraints and complexities, including Preventative Maintenance and significant planned outages.
• Update and provide daily requirement reports and snapshots to other functions.
• Create and maintain category-specific SOP documentation to aid training and cover.
• Be a key contributor to filling and process capacity mapping.
• Work with the Site Scheduling Team Leader to improve reporting of key KPIs.
• Produce and review PEAK plans for Creamery categories regularly.
• Review planning parameters such as stock cover policies and production frequency to meet service commitments cost-effectively.
• Foster relationships with all site functions, including network planning, transport scheduling, product management, and commercial teams.
• Maintain planning master data (both APO and PS1).
• Provide daily cover across other categories, e.g., Dairy Scheduling and Component Planning.
• Provide cover for the Site Scheduling Team Leader as needed.

What You Will Need To Succeed

The successful candidate will have significant experience working in an FMCG environment, ideally in a Site Scheduler, Planner, or Supply Planning role, with a good understanding of site operations and the end-to-end supply chain. They will have an analytical mindset and be excited by change. Effective communication skills with colleagues at all levels are essential. They should approach problem-solving with a root cause analysis mindset and focus on continual improvement. Previous SAP/APO experience is highly advantageous.
