Overview

MTrec's new career opportunity

Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are now looking to recruit a Production Planner on a permanent basis. This could be an ideal role if you are a Junior Planner or recent Graduate who is at the start of their Planning career.

Responsibilities
  • To complete a range of routine and non-routine order scheduling processes to direct production, with the intent to fully support customer requirements.
  • Ideally the successful candidate would have several years' experience in a previous planning role, however, consideration would be given to a candidate with excellent IT skills (e.g. Excel, Power Bi etc) coupled with a flexible/adaptable attitude to a new challenge.
  • Checks customer orders and clarifies demand issues and deviations to previous volumes.
  • Enters order data into the respective planning systems.
  • Liaises with other departments (eg. production, warehousing) to ensure schedules are met.
  • Prioritises, plans and schedules production orders and plans the respective resources needed (in Logistics or Production).
  • Support outbound delivery time schedules in co-operation with clients.
  • Supports (where required) administration of outbound deliveries.
  • Responds to customer and stakeholder requests for information.
  • Maintains appropriate documentation and prepares respective reports.
  • May assist in inventory management to support the planning process.
  • Supports regular internal and customer meetings.
