Overview

Production Planner - Energis is currently recruiting for a Production Planner for our manufacturing client based near Newry. Working as part of a team, the successful Production Planner will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling production processes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.

Responsibilities
  • Create weekly and daily plans to maintain on-time deliveries while maintaining a steady workload for production.
  • Attend production planning meetings, ensuring effective communication in relation to production plans between related departments and raising any concerns which may impact the production programme.
  • Order raw materials ensuring the lowest possible stock levels while allowing production to proceed in line with programme.
  • Process stock counts to ensure accurate stock values, investigate and highlight variances.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience of stock control / production planning ideally within manufacturing
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Strong IT skills especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Good time management, interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a busy team
  • Proven numeracy and literacy skills

Salary is in the region £25-30k + benefits including pension.
