Qualifications

  • Previous experience in complex manufacturing – SMT / Process / Test equipment across multiple lines.
  • Knowledge of SIOP.
  • Experience in using ERP & MRP systems.
  • Comprehension of mechanical drawings.

The Role

We areopening a new world-class facility and are looking for new talented people to join us on this exciting journey.

We are looking for a production planner with a background in electronic manufacturing to join our production planning team. Our planning department is a central function of our manufacturing operation. The team interfaces directly with customers to organise, plan, and monitor production schedules. They also interface with internal departments to ensure manufacturing is completed to defined standards, quality conditions and within planned timeframes.

Responsibilities
  • Working experience of using a SIOP process for planning.
  • Experience of planning complex production across multiple production lines, making logical decisions, fixing issues and escalating issues to other functional teams.
  • Enacting customer purchase orders/contract review process for NPI and production-type orders
  • System configuration, handling and implementing concessions, and organising digital data
  • Working with multi-level BOMs, digital data, drawing sets, and part numbers
  • Creating and planning work orders with consideration for the entire build process and granular-level information
  • Organising production schedules for key departments
  • Monitoring and supporting NPI orders, closing feedback loops, and monitoring engineering updates
  • Confirming order acknowledgments and supporting customers and account managers with RFI’s and progress
About You
  • Essential – Previous experience in complex manufacturing – SMT / Process / Test equipment across multiple lines
  • Essential – Knowledge of SIOP
  • Essential – Experience in using ERP & MRP user
  • Essential – Comprehension of mechanical drawings
  • Desirable - Engineering background, ideally Electronics Manufacturing.
  • Desirable – Strong problem solving skills
  • Desirable – Able to communicate with staff, customers and suppliers
