Production Operatives

Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5

Temporary

Key Role And Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and production of bakery products
• Operate machinery safely under supervision (training provided)
• Pack finished products accurately and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and safe work area following hygiene standards
• Record production activities and report any issues promptly

Pay rate: £12.21 per hour PAYE, paid weekly

Statutory deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out apply.

Working hours:

• Any 4 days out of 7: Sunday to Saturday, Shift times 19:00 to 07:00 / 19:00 to 07:00
• Fixed shift: 2 days / 2 nights - 4 days off, 06:30 - 18:30 / 18:30 - 06:30

Requirements

• Good attention to detail and willingness to follow procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable with manual handling and standing for periods (reasonable adjustments considered)
• Previous food-production experience is helpful but not essential
