Job Description

The main purpose of the Production Operatives role is to carry out all allocated line-based activities, as directed by the Team Leaders and Manufacturing Managers, which will contribute to the overall team production output.

Key Accountabilities
  1. Carry out production-based tasks as directed by the production Team Leader or Manager including:
  • Feeding raw material onto a production line.
  • Feeding planks into the portion saw.
  • Weighing product into trays.
  • Feeding trays into the tray sealer.
  • Feeding coated product into cartons.
  • Packing into outer cases.
  • Palletising and wrapping finished cases.
  • Visually inspecting raw material at the feeding stage and removing any defected material.
  • Visually inspecting coated material for defects in line with the attribute.
  • Checking print quality on all packed product.
  • Checking seal integrity on all sealed trays and cartons.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are maintained during all tasks.
