Join a busy manufacturing team as a Production Operative specialising in fuel tank production. This hands-on role involves using equipment and machinery, following technical instructions, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality in every task. Fixed and permanent contracts available.

Overview

Working within a fast-paced production environment to support fuel tank assembly and finishing processes. The role requires manual tasks, reading technical documents, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Operate safely and follow all health and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Maintain clean and tidy work areas.
  • Read, understand and work from technical drawings, SOPs and process specifications.
  • Operate RF welders and use adhesives/lacquer to bond components.
  • Prepare, fit, lacquer and stencil tanks, including data recording tasks.
  • Perform manual tasks: lifting, marking up, fitting and assembling components for production.
  • Strip and rebuild jigs, formers, and related equipment as required.
  • Work efficiently as part of a production team.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in manufacturing, production, or similar hands-on environments preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Good manual dexterity and physical capability for handling materials/machinery.
  • Able to follow complex instructions and technical documents.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-minded.
  • Excellent communication skills and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Full-time, site-based role - Monday to Thursday, 07:30-16:15; Fridays, 07:30-16:00
