  • Reporting any issues with production machinery.

Overview

Do you have experience in a heavy manufacturing, factory or construction role? Are you physically fit? Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to work in their Foundry to assist in the aluminium investment casting process.

Responsibilities
  • Aluminium melt preparation prior to casting
  • Cleaning and preparing moulds for casting
  • Pouring molten metal into the moulds (casting)
  • Moving moulds following casting
  • Removing the ceramic shell from the finished cast
  • Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
Qualifications
  • High degree of physical fitness. This is a strenuous role with manual handling.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing/Factory/Production/Construction environment.
  • A good work ethic
  • A good level of physical coordination
  • Excellent time keeping skills.
Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday 6am - 4.30pm - 40 hours per week

There is the opportunity for optional overtime on Fridays and some Saturdays.
