Job summary

A Wolverhampton-based client is seeking a production operative to ensure high-quality coating applications in their manufacturing processes. The role involves following precise instructions, adhering to safety standards, and utilizing specific tools for quality control. This is a full-time position with hours from 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Utilise numeracy and literacy skills to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.
• Work within the coating department, ensuring quality control of coatings applied to parts.
• Read and interpret diagrams to ensure correct application of coatings.
• Check various elements of coatings for consistency and quality.
• Follow clear instructions while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Work with chemicals safely, ensuring compliance with all safety guidelines.
• Use measuring equipment to check dimensions and coating thickness.
• Operate cranes/hoists to move materials and parts efficiently.
• Load parts onto jigs for coating processes.
