Job summary

A recruitment agency is looking for reliable Production Operatives to join a busy manufacturing team in Pontypool. This long-term, full-time position offers a starting pay of £12.21 per hour and potential for permanent employment. JDR Recruitment are currently looking for reliable and hard-working Production Operatives to join our client's busy manufacturing team based in Pontypool. This is an excellent opportunity for long-term, full-time work with the potential to become permanent.

The Role

As a Production Operative, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day manufacturing process, supporting the production team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

Responsibilities
  • Operating production machinery and equipment safely
  • Assisting with the assembly and finishing of manufactured products
  • Loading and unloading materials
  • Operating a forklift as required
  • Carrying out basic quality checks
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Always following health & safety procedures
  • Supporting other production and workshop tasks as required

This role is hands-on and can be physically demanding, requiring good manual handling ability.
