Job Description

We are currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join the Filling department at our Market Drayton site. You will be part of Müller's UK Manufacturing Operation, producing quality products and meeting specifications efficiently.

Shift Pattern

4 on 4 off shift pattern (Days and Nights)

Salary

Starting salary of £31,079, rising to £33,906 after successful completion of extensive in-house training and competency framework.

Candidate Requirements

• Production machine experience and knowledge within a Technical Processing Plant, ideally in food manufacturing.

Your Responsibilities

• Operating manufacturing machinery according to procedures.
• Proactively maintaining health & safety standards.
• Assisting in fulfilling statutory duties.
• Meeting operational line/plant targets and waste reduction goals.
• Achieving individual targets.
• Minimising machine and plant downtime.
• Maintaining hygiene standards and housekeeping.
• Carrying out basic routine maintenance (mechanical aptitude essential).
• Ensuring high product quality and reporting concerns.
• Fault finding and corrective actions or escalation as needed.
• Adapting to flexible work arrangements.

Key Skills & Experience

• Relevant food manufacturing qualification or experience (advantageous).
• Basic Food Hygiene knowledge.
• Health & Safety training.
• Mechanical handling equipment experience.
• Technical processing plant/machine knowledge.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude (essential).
