Production Operative (Temporary - Potential for Permanent Role)

We are looking for a Production Operative to join our clients busy manufacturing team. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for a permanent role following a successful trial period.

You’ll play an important part in ensuring all customer orders are produced efficiently, accurately, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and pack products and assist in all aspects of factory production.
  • Manufacture products to precise measurements and quality standards.
  • Check stock and materials thoroughly, reporting any shortages or quality issues.
  • Process orders accurately and on time for despatch.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding order progress and any issues.
  • Maintain product knowledge, particularly when new systems are introduced.
  • Support other production areas when required.
  • Keep the work area clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety policies and participate in stock takes.
Skills & Attributes
  • Good manual dexterity and able to perform tasks involving standing and lifting.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and positive “can-do” attitude.
  • Team player who can also work independently once trained.
  • Strong attention to detail with good numeracy, literacy, and basic IT skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and well‑organised.
  • Hours : 0800-1700 with an early finish on a Friday.
  • Immediate start required
  • Paid weekly whilst temping.
