Overview

Food Production Operative in Scunthorpe, UK. Salary £12.50 per hour (rising to £13.50 after 12 weeks for skilled roles). Overtime available. Weekly pay every Friday. Brand new staff facilities including canteen, staff shop, free parking and recently renovated changing rooms with free WiFi. Free bus service offered from Hull to Scunthorpe. This is a temporary position with potential for a permanent contract after 12 weeks.

Location details: Scunthorpe, with the client being one of the UK’s largest food manufacturers.

Responsibilities
  • Process and handle raw poultry within a chilled production environment.
  • Perform duties such as handling, dicing, sorting or filleting chicken to the correct specification.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Good eye for detail and ability to deliver high standard work in a fast-paced, chilled environment.
  • Comfortable working with and handling raw produce.
  • No prior experience required; full training provided.
  • Successful candidates will be assigned to a shift pattern on day 1 with no need to wait for confirmations.
Shift pattern and compensation
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, rotating AM/PM shifts
  • AM shift: 06:00 – 14:30
  • PM shift: 14:30 – 23:00
  • Days/Afternoons rate: £12.50 per hour; after 12 weeks, £13.50 per hour for skilled roles
