Responsibilities
  • Operate a range of production and manufacturing machinery with a strong focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Assist in the manufacturing process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and specifications.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on finished products and document results accurately.
  • Perform manual handling tasks, including loading/unloading materials and products, adhering to company safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to foster a safe and efficient production environment.
  • Identify and report equipment faults or maintenance requirements to the relevant team members.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to meet production deadlines and goals.
  • Engage in training and professional development opportunities to improve skills and adapt to new technologies.
Requirements

Day-to-day
  • Start your workday by conducting safety checks on machines and reviewing daily production goals with your team.
  • Operate machinery, ensuring smooth operation and maintaining high efficiency.
  • Monitor ongoing production for quality assurance, performing routine checks and addressing possible defects or issues.
  • Handle materials safely, transferring them to and from machines or assembly areas as needed.
  • Keep your workstation clean and organized, adhering to company protocols.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process.
  • Participate in team meetings, providing feedback and updates on production progress.
  • End your shift by documenting production output, reporting any challenges or successes, and preparing for the next shift.

The working hours are 06:00 - 14:10 Monday to Friday.

The starting pay is £12.56/h.
