Job summary

A leading consultancy is seeking a Production Manager for a smaller pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Woking. The role requires oversight of production activities, team leadership and a focus on compliance with GMP standards. Qualifications

• Experienced in production management within a pharmaceutical GMP environment.
• Previous people management experience is essential.
• Working knowledge of sterile/aseptic environments strongly preferred.

• Manage and schedule all site production activities.
• Lead the production team with clear expectations and training.
• Support the team on the shop floor through the Production Supervisors.

Production Manager

If working in a smaller manufacturing facility is appealing due to the visibility and ability to make things happen – read on.

This specific hire will take management and scheduling responsibilities for all site production activities. A core aspect of the role will be the leadership of the production team to create clear expectations, measurables and deliverables, as well as ensuring that there is a strong training and development ethos across the group.

Whilst this will not be hands on day to day, given the size of the unit, you will need to be comfortable being on the shop floor and supporting the team, directly and indirectly through the Production Supervisors.

Key experience:

• Experienced production manager or supervisor within a pharmaceutical GMP environment

• Previous people management experience is essential
