Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Guildford is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee site production activities. The successful candidate will manage the production team, set expectations and ensure a strong training ethos. Ideal applicants will have a background in pharmaceutical GMP environments and experience in sterile/aseptic processes. This specific hire will take management and scheduling responsibilities for all site production activities. A core aspect of the role will be the leadership of the production team to create clear expectations, measurables and deliverables, as well as ensuring that there is a strong training and development ethos across the group.

Whilst this will not be hands on day to day, given the size of the unit, you will need to be comfortable being on the shop floor and supporting the team, directly and indirectly through the Production Supervisors.

Key experience:

• Experienced production manager or supervisor within a pharmaceutical GMP environment
• Working experience of a sterile / aseptic environment is strongly preferred
• Knowledge and experience of validation activities, including equipment and process validation is desirable
