Production Engineer

Liverpool (South East) - Commutable from Liverpool, Widnes, Runcorn, St Helens, Warrington

Excellent salary plus 25 days leave plus Benefits. 37.5 Hours Mon-Fri with flex start/end times and early Fri finish

Are you a mechanical engineer from a precision engineering/manufacturing background looking for a varied role, with a combination of hands-on shopfloor work with more project based continuous improvement, design and failure investigation tasks? The role is working as part of a small team in a clean, modern working environment.

The role offers a salary from the high 30\'s to the high 40\'s and also an excellent benefits plus huge learning opportunities and the chance to work with new equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern clean environment with the opportunity for further training. The company are a market leading bespoke pharmaceutical manufacturer with a global presence.

Please note that my client is looking for working experience for the role—it isn\'t suitable as an entry level or graduate position.

The Role

1. Permanent, full time, varied position working in precision engineering environment for a pharmaceutical manufacturer
2. Combination of hands on shopfloor tasks and projects based process improvement work
3. Define manufacturing and inspection processes such as CNC & CMM programs and quality investigation plans.
4. Failure investigation and continuous improvement work

The Person

1. Academic background in Mechanical Engineering
2. Working experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
3. Working understanding of CNC machined products, CAD modelling, CAM programming, Edgecam, G-Codes and programming of CMM equipment (as many of these as possible though some training can be provided).
4. Any metrology knowledge preferred but not essential
