Overview

We are supporting a well-established organisation in their search for an experienced Production Engineer to join their growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer with a passion for continuous improvement and process optimisation.

Responsibilities
  • Support the launch of new products and ensure they are ready for production
  • Identify and fix production issues using root cause analysis methods
  • Create and update instructions, specifications, and parts lists
  • Review and improve production processes to boost efficiency and cut costs
  • Work with other teams to solve technical and production problems
  • Lead projects to improve quality, safety, and sustainability in manufacturing
  • Make sure all work follows health and safety rules and best practices
  • Communicate with suppliers and teams to get the right tools and materials
  • Set up meetings and reviews to support ongoing engineering work
Qualifications
  • Degree or HNC/D in Mechanical Engineering (or a closely related subject)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a production or manufacturing engineering role
  • Strong background in mechanical engineering
  • Confident using CAD software and MS Office
  • Proven experience creating and checking technical drawings, BOMs, and routes
  • Work well independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Bring strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
