PRODUCTION ASSISTANT

MR PORTER is seeking a Production Assistant to support the day‑to‑day running of the production team, ensuring projects are managed efficiently and executed to the highest standard. This role requires exceptional organisation, communication, and attention to detail. Knowledge of stills and video pre‑ and post‑production is a must.

Reports to: Head of Shoot Production

Location: Our Westfield office in London (4 days office based & 1 day from home)

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:
  • Traffic creative briefs across production and creative teams
  • Track project progress and maintain status sheets
  • Coordinate shoot schedules and resource calendars
  • Support with coordinating photo and video shoots, not limited to location sourcing, talent booking, casting
  • Liaise with suppliers, generate quotes, and support with budgeting
  • Manage administrative tasks including raising and receipting POs, invoicing, and call sheets
  • Contribute to shoot meetings, take notes, and follow up on action points
  • Archive content and maintain accurate records of production assets
  • Support production and marketing priorities where needed
  • Manage travel logistics including flights, hotels and car bookings
  • Support with creative research projects including photographers, models and other talents and locations
The type of person we are looking for:
  • Detail orientated and forensic with tracking and filing
  • Strong communicator with excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Self‑motivated and detail‑oriented, with a flexible, problem‑solving mindset
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Word, Photoshop & Design applications an advantage.
  • Previous experience in a production, marketing, or fashion environment is highly desirable
  • Passion for fashion, creativity, and high‑quality visual content
