Qualifications

• Essential: Science/Technology/Engineering/Mathematics (STEM) Degree or equivalent.
• Essential: Awareness of the challenges posed by the environment that the product will be exposed to.
• Desirable: Awareness of design, manufacturing, assembly, commissioning and testing submarines lifecycle phases.

Responsibilities

• Support peer reviews, checking, verification and assurance tasks for the Safety Case.
• Assist in production and management of Project Safety Management Plans.
• Develop understanding of the Safety Case, Quality and HSE Management System.
• Facilitate Product Safety hazard and risk identification activities.
• Manage Product Safety requirements.
• Produce training materials for delivery.
