Job Summary

As part of our Product Management organization, you will translate customer needs, market insights, and competitive intelligence into compelling value propositions and class‑leading aseptic filling solutions that deliver measurable benefits to life sciences and pharmaceutical customers. This role owns the end‑to‑end lifecycle of a defined portfolio and partners cross‑functionally to drive innovation and profitable growth, ensuring strategies are grounded in aseptic processing requirements, regulatory compliance, and commercial viability.

Key Responsibilities
Customer & Application Focus
  • Act as the voice of the customer, converting aseptic processing challenges and operational pain points into clear product requirements and prioritized use cases.
  • Lead structured discovery (process walk‑throughs, VOC interviews, field immersion, and data analysis) to identify and quantify customer value drivers.
  • Translate insights into value propositions and product concepts that solve real problems and deliver measurable benefits.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
  • Continuously monitor the competitive landscape, emerging technologies, and regulatory trends (e.g., GMP, Annex 1, FDA, USP); turn insights into strategy, roadmaps, and positioning.
  • Collaborate with our Customer Insights team for market and customer intelligence sharing, while maintaining working knowledge of aseptic processing standards and compliance requirements.
  • Provide actionable intelligence that shapes NPI business cases, segmentation strategies, and marketing campaigns.
Product & Brand Strategy
  • Own the product strategy and roadmap from concept to obsolescence—anchored in customer value, competitive advantage, and commercial viability.
  • Develop and maintain Market Requirements Documents (MRDs); lead field trials and proof points in priority applications to validate customer benefits.
  • Execute a multi‑year brand strategy: positioning, messaging, and value narratives that clearly differentiate vs. competition and establish class‑leading performance.
  • Align brand execution with global marketing, digital presence, and sales enablement to drive adoption.
Commercial & Lifecycle Excellence
  • Define pricing models and margin targets aligned with value delivery and competitiveness.
  • Equip sales teams with value‑based selling tools, training, and case studies that clearly articulate customer benefits.
  • Monitor portfolio performance (mix, margin, win/loss, complaint themes, feature uptake); drive continuous improvement, rationalization, and obsolescence.
  • Ensure sustainability and compliance across the lifecycle; coordinate with Supply/Operations on continuity, cost, quality, and lead‑time impacts.
  • Identify growth opportunities through segmentation, channel strategies, and targeted application plays.
Stakeholder Engagement & Influence
  • Build strong relationships with global sales teams, key accounts, and industry partners.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and technical forums to enhance brand visibility.
  • Act as an internal champion for customer‑centric innovation.
Skills/Experience
  • Deep experience in aseptic filling equipment or related life sciences/pharmaceutical sectors—understanding cleanroom requirements, aseptic processing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven Product Management experience in industrial or pharmaceutical equipment.
  • Strong customer discovery and competitive analysis skills; adept at turning insights into strategy.
  • Experience with value‑based pricing, MRDs, NPI, and field validation.
  • Excellent cross‑functional leadership and storytelling—able to articulate real customer benefits and class‑leading value propositions.
  • Working knowledge of GMP, Annex 1, FDA, USP, and other relevant standards.
  • Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
