The Product Manager is responsible for owning the full product lifecycle, defining customer requirements, shaping product strategy and working closely with engineering operations and sales teams to deliver successful products to market. This role combines technical understanding with commercial awareness and strategic insight, ensuring that Thermoteknix products remain competitive, innovative and aligned with customer and market needs. You will act as the voice of the customer within the organisation, translating user and market feedback into actionable product roadmaps and development priorities. Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings, trade shows, field trials and partner visits in the UK and overseas.
Proven experience in product management or a related role within high‑technology engineering, imaging or electronics sectors. Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and engineering processes. Technical competence able to discuss detailed specifications, architectures and features with engineers and customers alike. Experience working with cross‑functional teams (R&D, Operations, Sales and Marketing). Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into commercial value. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a structured, data‑driven approach. Familiarity with product management tools and processes (roadmapping, requirements capture, Agile or Stage‑Gate methodologies). Relevant qualification in engineering physics or a related technical field preferred; business qualification advantageous.
